We’re a family, immigrant, and woman-owned boba tea cafe in Waco and Temple, TX offering authentic, premium boba tea, housemade drinks, and delicious fast-casual Taiwanese and Chinese-inspired eats. We're known for our delicious pan-fried dumplings too! And we're the only independently-owned boba tea cafe in Waco and Temple that is Taiwanese-owned (Taiwan being the motherland of boba).

2022 James Beard Foundation (JBF) Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (WEL) Program
The WEL program brings together female entrepreneurs in the food & beverage industry to develop business and leadership skills. Cha Community co-owner Jaja Chen completed WEL cohort program fall 2022.

Cha Community was awarded the Minority-Owned Business Achievement Award Fall 2022 after being selected as a finalist amongst over 3,000 applicants.
2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree
Our co-owner Devin Li and Cha Community (at that time called Waco Cha) was chosen as a 2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree. Forbes chose entrepreneurs and businesses across the U.S. who were able to innovatively pivot, grow, or launch their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
