As Asian Americans residing in Central Texas, we understand the struggle of finding the flavors and representation we grew up cherishing. That's why, in 2018, we embarked on our entrepreneurial journey, fueled by a passion to share our love for premium boba tea, delectable dumplings, and other delicious eats.

2024 HerHeadquarters Woman-Owned Business Certification
Cha Community received official certification as a woman-owned small business by HerHeadquarters March 2024 as part of Women's History Month celebrations.
2023 Extraco Banks Extrapreneur Regional & People's Choice Award Winner
Cha Community received both the Bell County Regional Award and People's Choice social media award September 2023 at the 2023 Extrapreneur Pitch Competition with Extraco Banks in Waco, Texas.
2022 James Beard Foundation (JBF) Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (WEL) Program
The WEL program brings together female entrepreneurs in the food & beverage industry to develop business and leadership skills. Cha Community co-owner Jaja Chen completed WEL cohort program fall 2022.
2022 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Minority-Owned Business Achievement Award Winner
Cha Community was awarded the Minority-Owned Business Achievement Award Fall 2022 after being selected as a finalist amongst over 3,000 applicants.
2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree
Our co-owner Devin Li and Cha Community (at that time called Waco Cha) was chosen as a 2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree. Forbes chose entrepreneurs and businesses across the U.S. who were able to innovatively pivot, grow, or launch their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
